I was playing around last week with a Pentax FA 31mm f/1.8 AL Limited lens on my K10D and I thought I would do a quick FoV (field of view) and IQ (image quality) comparison between it and my Pentax FA 35mm f/2.0 AL lens. Here’s what I found:
Two years ago I was looking for an upgrade to my then 2 year old Canon Digital Rebel XT (350D). I really didn’t have much more than the kit lens and a cheap-o EF 50mm f/1.8 II, so I didn’t feel too married to Canon. I did my research and decided the then new Pentax K10D represented a better value for the $1,800 I had to spend than the more expensive Canon 30D.
