Adam Carter presentation
Adam Carter (AU INDD class of ‘07) presented to our Prefessional Practice class this past Tuesday. He shared his insights on negotiating a job offer and shared his experiences during his first 7 months as a Design Engineer at Masterbuilt Manufacturing, Inc. in Columbus, GA. Overall it was a great presentation from a recent graduate who is making it good right here in the Southeast. I particularly appreciated Adam’s anaylsis of the differences in salaries for Industrial Designers and Design Engineers (even though many times the job descriptons and requirements are the same). Way to go Adam. Thanks for sharing!

I just ran across this article and wanted to thank you for the great write up. I have been fortunate to get invited back each year to present to the pro-practice class, and I gladly accept the honor.
