back to the books

Winter break is over and Spring Semester has officially begun. I have another full load this semester with 18 hours of classes. As you can see above, I’m taking a World Literature class which requires a lot of reading. The rest of my classes are in Industrial Design and include a 4th year studio class, a 4th year Professional Practice class, a 3rd year 3D CAD class, and a 2nd year History of Industrial Design class. Most all of which promise loads of out-of-class work.
For my studio this semester we are working with a major Midwest power equipment company on a sponsored studio project. I’m doing things a bit different this time as I will be serving as a paid Teaching Assistant for the studio. This gives me the opportunity to design direct 15 projects rather than just focusing on my own single concept. It should be exciting!
Well, I’ve got another class in a few minutes so I need to wrap this post up and head out!

I have a design idea for you. How about a candle you can burn at both ends?

That’s a great idea, Jeff. Unfortunately, someone’s beaten you to it: http://www.patentstorm.us/patents/5848886/description.html
