juice’d up
Regular visitors of my blog and/or Flickr stream may have noticed that I seem to be taking a lot of pictures of things found around the house, while shopping, etc. I like to think I’ve just been following Chase Jarvis’ admonition that there are at least 10 great shots within 10m of you right now. In reality, it’s because I haven’t been getting out much these days. I’m in the final stages of a job hunt that has lasted off and on for the past 18 months. It has been quite difficult to maintain my creative edge during this emotionally trying time. Without my camera I think I may have just given up a long time ago.
Anyway, I have three promising opportunities in closing stages right now and will have a new job by the end of October. With that will come another move and boat loads of photographic opportunities. Thanks for all of your support and hanging in with me throughout this ordeal. We’re getting close to the end and I’m getting pretty juice’d up!

Way to go Jim. I wish you the best and hope you get to pick the position you want. I’ve been in the same position as a self-employed person for the last 12 months. Faith and my photography got me through. Looks like I may be getting something by the end of October too!
